According to TypePad.com, I've just crossed the 1000 post mark on this site since the first post on this site went live on July 31, 2003.
My current plan is to write more substantative posts about technology and technical writing as I work to further mature this blog to become an integral part of my online presence.
I finally got online with Internet Explorer 8 after a not so spectacular installation routine. Personally. I was never a fan of the Internet Explorer 7 user interface and was happy that Microsoft returned to a more traditional browser user interface with easily accessible menus.
Internet Explorer is my go to browser for when I need to access a SharePoint site or some some download or content on Microsoft.com. Sure some of this reasoning is because I am primarily a Macintosh user (at least in my home office) but Internet Explorer and I grew apart during some of its more mediocre versions. read more
While I’ve yet to pull the trigger on a Netbook for myself, I’ve been following developments in the market.
My laptop of choice is a MacBook Pro and I also have a MacBook Air so at the current time I really don’t have a real use for a Netbook. When I want to travel light, I grab my MacBook Air. It has served me well when I needed to have a computer with me while I was on personal travel more than once over the past year or so.
