LinkedIn is really pressing forward with the integration of third-party applications and Web services into their platform. All in all, this is a prudent move for LinkedIn to keep pace with social networking and to do the best to augment their platform.
Their integration with WordPress means LinkedIn users can tie into their WordPress site and have their latest postsĀ show up in their LinkedIn profile.
I’ve taken advantage of their WordPress integration to showcase willkelly.wordpress.com. It’s not my main blog but I am using to post updates about my availability and to keep my WordPress chops up as I pursue more online writing and blogging gigs.
While I’ve contemplated leaving typepad.com more than once, I am happy with the platform since i wrote my first post on it.

About Will Kelly
That is a great use case of the wordpress.com LinkedIn app.
You can also try the TypePad LinkedIn app, http://www.typepad.com/features/bloglink.html. It will automatically grab your latest blog post from any blog you have listed in your LinkedIn profile.
Hi Mark– Thanks for your comment. I am familiar with the feature but have still been going back and forth over linking this blog to my LinkedIn profile.
