More Thoughts about the iPad

IPad2 I took my iPad 3G along on my annual Mother’s Day road trip last weekend. It gave me an excuse to setup its 3G cellular. While my first attempt was met  with not being able to communicate with the servers, my second try while out to
lunch with my Mom worked like a champ.

It was a hoot to see my Mom check out my new iPad. She is totally NO tech right down to her TracFone, no computer, and no Internet access in her condo. Once she got the hang of the touch screen she was able to flit through the Epicurious iPad application with relative ease. She liked my iPad better than she liked my Kindle. I am an only child much less the only one really into technology in the family so it was cool to see her understand and “get” the iPad.
